About EmergiFund

What is EmergiFund?+
EmergiFund is a subscription-based access service that gives you fuel or electricity when you need it most. You pay a monthly subscription fee and in return get access to fuel or electricity up to your plan's limit. This is not a loan or credit facility.
Is EmergiFund a loan?+
No. EmergiFund is a subscription-based access service, not a loan or credit facility. You subscribe to a plan and gain access to resources. Repayments are structured as part of the service agreement, not as loan repayments.
Is EmergiFund available across South Africa?+
Yes, EmergiFund is available to South African residents with a valid South African ID and a South African bank account.

Plans & Pricing

What plans are available?+
We offer Fuel Plans, Electricity Plans, and combined Fuel + Electricity plans at a range of monthly subscription tiers. Each plan gives you access to fuel or electricity up to a set amount. See our Plans page for current pricing and full details.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. You pay the monthly subscription fee. No interest is ever charged, and there are no hidden costs. If a debit order fails, a penalty may apply — but that is disclosed upfront.
Can I cancel my subscription?+
Yes. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone to cancel. Any outstanding access amounts will still need to be repaid.
Can I change plans?+
Yes. Contact us and we'll assist you with changing your plan. Changes typically take effect from the next billing cycle.

Access & Approval

Is access guaranteed once I subscribe?+
Access amounts shown are "up to" values and are not guaranteed. All applications are subject to approval. Your initial access amount may be lower than the plan maximum and will increase over time as you build a repayment history.
How quickly will I get access after applying?+
Once your application is approved and your subscription payment is confirmed, access is typically granted quickly. The exact timing depends on your application.
What documents do I need?+
You'll need a South African ID or valid passport, your bank account details, and proof of income (a payslip or recent bank statement). Photos taken on your phone are fine.

Repayments

How does repayment work?+
Repayments are collected via debit order, split into affordable instalments. We align repayments with your payday where possible — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. No interest is charged.
What happens if a debit order fails?+
Failed payments may result in penalties and suspension of access until the account is brought up to date. We encourage you to ensure sufficient funds are available on your debit date.
Can I repay early?+
Yes. Contact us to arrange early settlement. There are no early repayment penalties.
